Rain.

When will it stop?

It's been raining for weeks. It's grey and miserable and wet and bloody relentless.
Today is supposed to be the most depressing day of the year. But hey, cheer up everyone. It could be worse. It could be flooding or snowing. Ah. It's going to do both of those later on. Oh well.

What can cheer us all up? I don't know. Is it too much to ask for a bit of sunshine?

Yes.

I live in Seattle, which has a similarly dreary winter climate despite being thousands of miles away, so I feel your pain.

One year it was so bad, we went 90 days without any recorded "sunbreaks" as we call them here. When the sun finally appeared one day in March, I rushed to the window, pointed, and shouted "Orb! The Great Orb appears in the sky! We are saved!" I was only being slightly dramatic.

At least it's not cold - WeatherFox is telling me it's 12C at home, meanwhile here in Toronto it's -12C with an addtional 10 dregrees of windchill... feels like -22C. Mmmm, chilly.

Cas, I hope the weather is better for you than it has been for us this past few months.

BR, these are the perks and pitfalls of the international jet-set. Buy yourself a beaverskin cap and go have a snowball fight!
