I've been up to the wind farm at Scout Moor today. They're massive. No wonder you can see them from miles away. The make some weird noises when you're up close, like they're robots in disguise about to transform or something, but they're actually quite quiet. Get a few hundred yards away and you cannot hear them.
I do wonder how much use they'll actually be, but hey are awesome to look at. Especially this close.
