This delicious (ugh!) combo appeared as the contents of the mystery shopping bag on a episode of 'Ready, Steady, Cook!' sometime last year. As I recall, the chefs made a tomato relish out of the tomato, and used the remaining ingredients to make a chewing gum salad. Isn't that Ainsley Harriot wonderful?
